Around Sentrui

In Around Sentrui we show you which Kempeneers lived where (for as far as we have been able to find out) where they were baptised, or married, or burried.

It gives an idea of how the family was spread over the city. Most of the adresses noted in the marriage or death certificates, refer to 'faubourg de' such as 'Faubourg de Namur, Faubourg de Tirlemont". These "faubourgs" - suburbs - were situated just outside the city walls that still existed at the time.

Click on a church and you will get an overview of who was baptised there, who got married in that church or who was burried there.
